Baggage. Energy stored in the nervous system that has not been discharged. The energy stays in the system until it is activated again. This happens as a result of a traumatic or frightening experience, during which the body’s active threat response was frozen, and then did not fully unfreeze. So it didn’t fully deal with the situation at the time, instead stored the active energy of the reaction to be dealt with later.
